San Diego, California Ladies Trip

Recently I took a trip to sunny San Diego together as part of a ladies trip! Our small group has been taking trips together since 2016, and we missed a couple years due to the pandemic, but we’re back at it and exploring new places together.

California is always an easy decision if we’re not sure where to go, there are so many great areas to explore since it’s such a large state! We chose to go to the south end of the state where the weather is typically warm and predictably nice in spring.

During our stay we found not only amazing hiking and cocktail spots, but also some delicious restaurants and cute shops.

Our favorites (in all categories) included:

  • Ironside Fish + Oyster (Little Italy, San Diego)
  • Duke’s (La Jolla)
  • Hiking on Annie’s Canyon Trail (Del Mar)
  • Torrey Pines Natural Area
  • Ta Dah (Solana Beach)
  • Caravan West (Solana Beach)
  • Puesto (Mission Valley)
  • Balboa Park
  • Lofty Coffee
  • Ranch 45 (Solana Beach)
  • The Henry (Coronado)
  • Self-guided bike tour (Coronado)
  • Francaise (Coronado)

Of course I couldn’t resist taking photos while we were there, it’s had to turn off my work brain that loves to capture memories and details. I’m so glad I took photos though because this ladies trip was beyond beautiful. I hope to visit again soon, I loved the entire area!
