It was a huge pleasure to get to have a brand session with a brand and website designer like Shelby, we had a blast doing her photos.

The photos below are from my brand photo session with Shelby, owner and lead designer of Shelby Design Co. She’s based right in Milwaukee near me, and we even went to the same college (but not the same year)!

Brand Session for a Brand + Website Designer

As we were planning her brand photo session, we knew we needed to show a peek into Shelby’s design process. She uses her laptop, but also sketches on her iPad and writes/doodles in her notebook. So all of those items naturally went on her prop list. Along with that, she does yoga regularly, and finds it so helpful and makes her feel healthier overall. Shelby also incorporated personal elements like the hat she always wears when she takes her daily walk, and her awesome bike.

The Perfect Photo Location

When you’re a designer like Shelby, you definitely need a beautiful spot for brand photos, right? We definitely thought so, and we found the perfect eclectic rental space. The design of the home was perfect, and there were even tons of books and accessories that made us feel right at home here for her brand photo session. When in doubt, rent the cool space!

With a great environment like this, we’re set up to win. Shelby was completely on board with renting the right space, and on the session day we knew for sure it was the right move.
