Q: For the session location, how does that all work? Do you as the photographer choose the spot, or do I do that? Does it cost extra, if so how much does it cost?
A: Each brand session is completely custom-built to fit my client's needs! So we brainstorm and plan together – you let me know the vibe/feel you're going for, and together we come up with a list of possible location options (don't worry, I can come up with options completely on my own if you don't have ideas!). From there we choose the best fit for you and your brand.
The cost is dependent on your needs as well. My Third Ward studio is available to us complimentary. For other locations, some of my go-to resources and booking platforms allow us to book by the hour for photo/video rental spaces, and some require a full day booking. We'll research and choose together.

Q: How do we make sure our visions align, and that we capture really great content (photo/video)? I've heard a lot of photographers hate Pinterest, so what do we do?
A: Unpopular opinion and hot take: I actually love using Pinterest, and I use it as a tool with any/all of my clients!
On that platform, we can collect lots of visual inspiration whether it's clothing, color palettes, architecture, art, posing, and so much more.
I'll also challenge you to look outside of your own industry. What else do you love? What are some other examples of women crushing it, or role models you look up to? What lights you up?
Often we're searching for a feeling. The strongest brands are not just a beautiful logo, they make us FEEL something. So we look to all ideas and inspiration and hone in on the feeling you want to convey in your marketing and in your content. Then we get to work on the magic of making that happen.

Q: How quickly after a session will I get my photos and videos?
A: My editing turnaround time after a brand session is about 3-6 business days, so you'll get the final edits very quickly!

Q: How do I schedule a session date/time with you?
A: Due to the limited amount of sessions I take on (1-2 per week) we choose that date directly over email or on a Planning Call.
Q: I'm so awkward in front of the camera! I'm conscious of my (specific body part, weight, etc. insert your own concern). How do we make brand photos less painful/awkward? I know I need to put myself out there and show my face, but ugh. Help!!
A: If I had a dollar for every time someone said that to me, we wouldn't even be talking – I'd be retired on some island sipping a margarita, delivered to me by my own mixologist.
Really, everyone says that to me when we first talk. And I get it, we all have *that thing* (or things) that makes us hesitate and procrastinate being vulnerable and hopping in front of the camera. It's easier to stay comfortable, avoid change, and hide behind our current marketing. Growth doesn't live there though.
But here we have a different approach! You see all those natural-looking and happy people in my portfolio? They didn't start that way (and you don't have to either). I'm letting you in on my (not-so) secret here – and it's simpler than you think. (Hint: Mostly it comes down to all our collab and pre-work!)

Q: I see your pricing is $2200-$4200. Tell me more.
A: We love to give that average investment range so there are no surprises. But we always start with a call to get to know your needs so that we can recommend a specific package that's the best fit for what you need – for YOUR unique photo or video project. No one size fits all here, so let's have a call!
Pricing and packages
Q: What are my payment options? What about for video?
A: Payments by credit card or by bank transfer (ACH) are both accepted securely through our client workspace. A 50% payment is due upon booking to reserve your spot, and the remaining 50% is due 1 week before the session date. For more info on product session pricing and payments, please reach out.
Retainers are built a little differently, as my Retainer clients make lower monthly payments, spread out over an entire year! The pricing is very similar per hour of coverage, but the upside is paying in smaller increments over time, which is great for cash flow if your business fluctuates annually.
Video shorts are included (but optional) in all packages booked in 2023 and beyond. For longer feature brand films, please ask.
