I’m so excited to finally share a post with more details on our new brand identity for My Brand Photographer! See all of the brand elements below, and I’ll share more about the design process. Designing a brand identity for a brand photographer (who also has a background in graphic design, hi!) might not have been an easy challenge, but my designer knocked it out the of park.
Lauren of Elby Creative designed an outstanding new identity for my business, including a logomark/identity, color palette, and monogram mark. I knew I wanted to work with a talented local female designer, and Lauren was a perfect fit for the project.
She offers a Brand in a Week package, which was perfect because I needed a pretty quick turnaround. Normally I wouldn’t have been in a rush, but I was also working with Melnick + Melnick to file a trademark for My Brand Photographer. Along with our application, I wanted to include an identity, so off we went!
Lauren and I created a Pinterest board where I pinned all sorts of things that drew my eye. Textures, colors, typography, images with motion and vibe, architecture, and more. It was such a fun way to kick off the project and start dreaming. She also had a very thorough process of defining my business goals and getting to know my brand voice/vibe to inform the new identity. All in all, the project was perfect because it moved quickly AND gave me an awesome result. She was fantastic, personable, and so easy to work with. I felt completely comfortable giving her feedback, and she nailed the final designs.
In the end, she also delivered a business card design, which turned out beautifully. Bonus, she also made me some shareable mockups for social media and the blog!
So without further ado, here’s my new brand identity designed by Elby Creative.
