Brand Session for Elevate Events, Wedding + Event Planners
Kirstie and Mallory are wedding and event planners based in Madison, WI and traveling all over the country wherever their clients take them! From Wisconsin to South Carolina, they’re a sister duo (yes, sisters!) creating stunning event designs that celebrate the big + small moments in life, and in general they’re rocking life in our little Midwest corner of the world.
We share an affinity for craft cocktails, dogs, sisterhood/family, and lots more, so it was a pleasure to have these ladies in the studio for their recent brand photography session!
Mal + Kirstie were looking to get more images behind the scenes of themselves working with event design, as well as some updated photos of themselves for social media. What they didn’t know they were also doing was celebrating WHO they are as people, not just as event planners. Celebrating their own beauty and strength. That’s what we do during a brand session!
I think we can agree they have a pretty interesting job, and a deep passion for creating special events for their clients. They have a lot of fun together in addition to working hard!
The best part of their session might have been the champagne toast at the end, taking a moment to celebrate a big step in their own journey — their sweet business turned 3 recently! After 3 years together doing what they love, I know they’ve learned and grown so much, so it was the perfect time to commemorate their journey with some photos (and some bubbly, too).
Ladies, it was such a pleasure to have you come to the studio for the session, which felt more like a lady-date for me to be honest, and I can’t wait to see what beautiful work you create this year! Cheers to your 2018 and many more awesome years in business! Keep inspiring and creating.
