Early June in Palm Springs is a balmy 100 degrees — quite the shock from a Midwest spring. It was a much-needed break in the middle of a busy summer season of work! I love to plan time (far in advance) to refuel around large projects and seasons that I know are going to be packed to the brim.
I got to explore some of the best spots in town alongside three of my good friends, Jen, Katie, and Chrissy. We stayed in a beautiful mid-century Airbnb, and we also rented bikes and made our own mid-century modern home tour. Early one morning we drove to and hiked at Joshua Tree, and pool time afterwards was necessary to cool down. Having our own pool was a huge advantage and a welcome spot to chat about our businesses, goals, and dreams.
There were no shortage of great eats and drinks, too! Jen knows how to mix a perfect margarita, and there were so many great spots to eat including and Norma’s at the Parker, Azucar, Birba, 4 Saints / High Bar, El Patron, and Koffi. Many thanks to Katie, Chrissy, and Jen for being wonderful travel buddies, and for taking photos of all of us throughout the trip! I can’t wait for our next adventure, but it’ll be hard to top Palm Springs!
