Milwaukee’s own Milwaukee Public Market, along with Project for Public Spaces, hosted this year’s epic Conference. The 12th International Public Markets Conference brings together market folks from around the world. They lead discussions, brainstorming sessions, and share stories about their local public spaces. I got to create this conference highlight video from the footage I captured in June.
Project for Public Spaces is such a fantastic organization. Here’s a little more about them, directly from their website. “Since 1975, Project for Public Spaces has helped over 3,500 communities across 50 countries and all 50 U.S. states imagine their futures and meet their needs through public space. From our early days building upon the research of William H. Whyte, we have grown into the go-to resource for placemaking as an approach to designing and managing public spaces with the people who use them every day.”
This year’s Conference had such incredible programming from an opening plenary with panel discussions, to mobile workshops, to market tours. They hosted an all-out celebration and welcome dinner, hosted at the Milwaukee Public Market, plus a send-off party at Zocalo.
I love offering business conference and live event photography and video services. Especially when I get to team up with local businesses, and such powerhouse organizations like Milwaukee Public Market. Capturing the essence and energy of live events can be powerful for a recap, as well as for future marketing. The resulting conference highlight video has already been helpful for these organizations! They get to share with their audience and email subscribers what it feels like to have been there.
