About Women’s Entrepreneurship Week Conference 2025

Women’s Entrepreneurship Week in Milwaukee was in one word: outstanding. She Stands Tall, the organizers, hosted over 100 speakers over the course of 5 days to share on a variety of topics directly relating to women entrepreneurs. Everything from business finance planning, forecasting, websites and blogging, scaling up, burnout and women’s health was covered. The Central Milwaukee Public Library were such gracious hosts, too, and deserve a mega shoutout. As a Milwaukee conference photographer and videographer, it was a joy to document this whole week-long event.

The energy in each room was incredible. Seeing this community of women come together to learn and connect was unreal. I got a chance to also attend four days in order to create this Highlight Video for WEW 2025. I experienced a lot, and I heard from some local powerhouse women. Everyone shared openly and freely about their experiences, and they made room for thoughtful dialogue.

New to WEW Conference This Year

One of the best new features this year was the Networking Lounge! It was a space for attendees to connect, have coaching sessions, squeeze in some work, or have a conversation and snack break.

Lastly, can we talk about the new WEW Experiences? I filmed and photographed several of the events, and attendees raved about them. It was a great way to get out of the learning environment and dig their hands into tactile things. On the docket were: ceramics, painting, yoga, gardening, printmaking, and more. I hope this facet of the conference continues, it was a joy to see women connecting over hands-on activities.
