My brand photography and video session with forthcoming author Chrissy Rose was a true dream project. Chrissy is an up and coming romance novel author, and with so many incredible ideas. She’s sure to have multiple novels in her creative well. She’s a talent, but what was memorable about our session was how kind and confident she is. Chrissy is actually that way in front of the camera or simply in person! Branding photos for authors and writers can be intimidating, but she brought the energy every single minute.

We chose a location local to us both, in Milwaukee, for our brand photography session. This spot was the perfect vibe for her. It felt welcoming, warm, and perfect to cozy up with a good book! She also felt inspired by the space because of the floral tie-ins, a hint at the title of her upcoming novel. Her pen name also includes a flower name, so everything felt right. She’s such a creative soul, and it really comes through in these photos of her thanks to her wonderful planning and collaborative ideas!

During our brand photo and video session, we captured her daily routine. She is a tea-drinker, and always starts her mornings very early with a perfectly brewed cup of tea. Then she dives into writing for the day, tea in hand. Chrissy gets inspired by all the amazing places she’s visited, as well as her surroundings.

She’s also a certified yoga instructor, so we got to capture that side of her personal brand as well. Chrissy is dedicated to personal wellness, self-care, and fitness to be physically and mentally healthy. She’s a wonderful example of living almost every moment aiming to be the best version of herself. She was absolutely glowing during our branding session.
