Time for another gorgeous project from Natasa Jones Interiors, and this project is a Lake House. We captured interior design photography near Milwaukee, WI for their recent project in a Lake Country suburb outside of the city. Each detail was thoughtfully designed with the location and the homeowners in mind. NJI knocked it out of the park as usual with their vision and interior design. And honestly, I love being a commercial photographer for interior designers team like NJI.

Interior photography is a combination of proper lighting and composition, plus a creative angle and perspective. I enjoy the strategy of documenting a space like this, where there is also room for interpretation and an artist’s eye.

Commercial Photography for Interior Designers

Working with specialists like interior designers, architects, and building contractors takes a detail-oriented person. These professionals need photos that showcase each technical and creative decision that goes into a designed space. It’s a challenging (in a fun way) job to be a commercial photographer for interior designers.

Natasa and her team created a stunning space that embraces the main draw of the home – the lake view. The kitchen flows seamlessly into the dining space and living space, with an office nearby. They chose each accent and furnishing to elevate the feeling of nature brought inside, and it’s perfection. Texture, pattern, and surfaces all support the natural yet refined vibe. On the upper level, they also designed the primary bedroom suite, complete with a sitting area overlooking the lake. This space also had some gorgeous textured artwork, and it has a private entry out onto a balcony. All in all, it’s a dream home especially after the design by NJI.

The team designed a truly gorgeous, functional yet beautiful space for this family, highlighting the home’s location on the lake. Who wouldn’t want to spend any season with this view?
