Milwaukee’s Third Ward is the perfect neighborhood to grab a great bite to eat or drinks. The Edison opened recently, and it’s nestled among this neighborhood, which is very walkable and has tons going on! For our lifestyle hospitality drinks photos, we focused on the season and some of their customers’ most loved options.

They also serve food, but for this short session we focused on their beverage offerings. We started with classics that are popular there, and we also did some seasonal drinks as well.

I got to photograph some of their winter and seasonal cocktails last month, in anticipation of the holidays and the winter season. Think of citrus paired with cranberries, a familiar option like an old fashioned, a glass of red wine, or a light spritz to liven things up. Whatever your cocktail or mocktail of choice, they can make it!

Lifestyle hospitality drinks photos can sometimes feel very staged and formal looking, so we went for a casual vibe and feel instead. We’ve all see the splashing drinks photos, which of course look interesting, but really do not show the actual process of a professional bartender or server making your drink. We opted for real, cozy, and down to earth.

It was great to capture a hint of their holiday and winter decor, but the space is elegant rather than over the top holiday. I thought it felt cozy and refined, while also feeling welcoming.
