Nicole and Katy are the talented team behind Bark River Realty. Capturing brand photos for real estate agents is not only fun, but a strategic way for agents to get content to stand out. They were energetic and easy to work with, and know all the great local spots in their community. It was perfect to get to document not only headshots of them, but also to get images of them out and about locally.

Brand Photos for Real Estate Agents

Like many of my clients, Nicole and Katy and I chose two different locations for their brand photo session. For their session we knew our dream locations have visual variety and a community feel. We needed lots of light, open space that felt airy and bright for their brand. Finally, we also wanted home where we could get some work-from-home or prepping a home for sale type shots. This is realistic for the way they work and live, so they were considerations that went into picking a location.

We chose this particular home and downtown area because it had all the things we needed! The spaces had a very neutral, earthy/outdoor, and light color palette, and with some small tweaks we made sure it fit their brand. The locations out in Lake Country (west of downtown Milwaukee) ended up being the perfect spot for brand photos.

Lastly, we considered seasonality, and we got some warm-weather looking photos outdoors, as well as some indoors that can be evergreen or any season. They had outfits that coordinated with the season feel we were going for, as well as coordinated with each other.

For real estate agent brand photos, we wanted all the spaces to feel like they related to the overall vibe and feel of their brand. I loved the outcome and the photos we got for Nicole and Katy! Their confidence, team dynamic, and approachability really came through in the session. I’m excited to see how they use these new images for their brand.
