Recently Ally of The Resonant Voice and I got to work together on updating her brand! She hadn’t had professional brand photos before this, her business took off and it wasn’t high on the list. Let’s be real, most of us start out this way, bootstrapping things before we hire professionals. Most businesses don’t start out with tons of start-up capital (myself included), so we make do with what we have. But it was time for Ally, she decided she was ready and reached out to me!

Aspirational Brand Photos for Coaches

Ally mentioned she had a specific location in mind – the Villa Terrace in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. If you know the area, you know this is a one-of-a-kind place with stunning views. It’s an Italian-inspired villa sitting on the shores of Lake Michigan with views that go on and on. We decided this was the perfect aspirational spot for photos, since the art she teaches mainly originated in Europe.

Often times when I work with women we do this – we look for aspirational locations for their brand. Most women think if they don’t have a cute office or aesthetically-pleasing home that they can’t have good photos. Not true! We have a deep reservoir of resources to rent/find homes and spaces for photo sessions, and I’m always happy to dive in for clients to find the perfect space. We can always aim for aspirational brand photos for coaches, we work through the details together.

New Service: Video Shorts

This was also one of the first times that we got to use our new service, video shorts! Ally added this to her session, so we got several (10 actually) videos of her working behind the scenes. These are some of my favorite captures from the session overall. She has such a beautiful teaching style, it was great to capture on video!
